EDITORIAL STANDARDS

Code of Ethics & Press Info

How Gavi Corner sources stories, labels fan edits, corrects mistakes, and stays independent from the club, leagues, and the player.

01

Who we are

Gavi Corner is a solo, bilingual fan-journalism project about Pablo Gavi — news digests, match logs, training notes, creative edits, and the Cornerist reader community. We are not FC Barcelona, LaLiga, UEFA, the RFEF, Pablo Gavi, or his family. Nothing here is an official club or player statement.

02

Editorial principles

Accuracy first

We verify names, dates, and quotes before publishing. When we get something wrong, we correct it in the open.

Source transparency

Stories cite original outlets, interviews, or public statements. Fan edits and analysis are never dressed up as breaking news.

Translation integrity

Spanish-language reports are translated for meaning and context — not clickbait headlines.

Clear labeling

News, match recaps, opinion, and creative edits each carry labels readers can trust at a glance.

Independence

No club, agency, or sponsor approves our coverage. Editorial calls are made in-house.

Respect & rights

We credit photographers and rights-holders. Takedown requests are reviewed promptly and in good faith.

03

How we label content

Every lane on the site has a job. We keep them separate so readers always know what they're looking at.

04

Corrections

If you spot a factual error, email us with a link to the article and the correction. We update the story, note what changed, and thank you when appropriate. Speculation and opinion are not treated as errors — only verifiable facts.

05

Sources & translation

We draw from Spanish and international outlets, club communications, and match data. When we paraphrase or summarize:

  • The original source is linked or named in the article.
  • Direct quotes stay in quotation marks with attribution.
  • Rumour and transfer gossip are labeled as unconfirmed.
  • Machine-assisted translation is always reviewed by a human editor.
06

Public record & social channels

This website is the canonical portfolio for the project. Day-to-day clips and features also go out on social:

07

Cornerist community

Signed-in readers can comment, bookmark articles, earn points, and appear on the leaderboard. User posts are moderated for abuse and spam; they reflect individual Cornerists, not Gavi Corner editorial voice. See our Terms of Use for account rules.

08

Legal & accreditation

Gavi Corner operates as an independent digital publisher and creator. That is standard and legal for online fan media.

Future in-stadium or mixed-zone access (for example Camp Nou or Ciutat Esportiva) may require official press credentials from a federation, club, or association — subject to organizer rules. We do not claim accreditation we do not hold.
